Sew: personalized bath towels
Add any name in fun fabric onto bath towels for a personalized gift.
I took red plaid fabric, cut out letters and zig zag stitched onto new bath towels:
Here's how to make personalized bath towels:
1. Purchase new bath towels.
2. Print name (I used Ariel font in 250 point)and paper cotton fabric for letters using med. weight fusible interfacing:
3. To make letters place print out right side down on light box.
Place fabric right side down on top of print out and trace letter outline with pencil directly onto interfacing:
4. Cut out letters and pin in place on towel then zig zag stitch:
(If you're concerned about letters shifting consider using double sided heat-n-bond fusible webbing on back side of letters, same process as interfacing but a slightly crunchier feel to letters.)
Clip threads and ready for use.

What a great gift idea!
This is such a cute idea! We always get to switch our towels at home because they don’t have our names on it. I think, with this idea, they will now know if the towel they picked belongs to them or not. Thanks for this idea. I would surely try this. ->Yon Vann
